Oakland, CA; (June 27, 2017):  Oakland International Airport is inviting passengers to enroll on-site in the popular TSA Pre✓® expedited screening program. The temporary enrollment event returns to Oakland following a successful turnout in November 2016.

TSA Pre✓® has more than 450 lanes at over 160 U.S. airports, and for a limited time, Oakland International Airport is hosting a temporary enrollment event in its Terminal 2 from July 10, 2017, through July 21, 2017.

“We are so pleased that our partners at TSA have elected to return to OAK to provide this valuable amenity to our customers. We encourage participation from our ticketed customers as well as any travelers living in Oakland and throughout the Bay Area who may benefit from the convenience of expedited screening,” said Bryant L. Francis, Director of Aviation at the Port of Oakland’s Oakland International Airport.

The Airport welcomes this temporary event as it witnesses more destinations than ever in its history.

TSA Pre✓® is an expedited screening program that enables identified low-risk air travelers to enjoy a smart and more efficient screening experience. For participants in the program, there is no need to remove shoes, 3-1-1 liquids, laptops can say in their cases, and light outerwear and belts can remain on.

How to apply:

Applying for TSA Pre✓® through this local enrollment event is easy.

Applicants are encouraged to Pre-Enroll by visiting the enrollment website:

www.identogo.com/locations/tsa-pre.

To complete the application process, enrollees will need to bring proof of identity and U.S. citizen documentation (such as a U.S. Passport or a birth certificate with valid driver license).

The application process is completed on site where TSA agents collect fingerprints for a background check and the $85 application for five years of service.  The fee can be paid by credit card, money order, company check, or certified/cashier's check. Cash and personal checks are not accepted.

Enroll in TSA Pre✔® today and begin to enjoy the expedited security screening program that helps take the stress out of travel, at the Bay Area airport that does the same.
