Oakland, CA - July 30, 2015:The Port of Oakland, operator of Oakland International Airport (OAK) announced an agreement with Lyft that allows the Transportation Network Company (TNC) to become the first to operate at the Airport. “Lyft offers yet another ground transportation choice for passengers flying to or from the San Francisco Bay Area through OAK”,” said Acting Director of Aviation, Kristi McKenney. “New ground transportation options are particularly welcome as passenger traffic continues to increase here at the airport.”
