Jack of All Trades holiday market at Jack London Square
Local artists and craft makers come together at the Oakland waterfront
Oakland, Calif.– December 7, 2016: This Saturday Jack London Square will offer a special, holiday-themed market, Jack of All Trades, from 11 AM to 5 PM.
Free to the public, this family and pet-friendly event includes more than 125 Indie designers, antique dealers, and start-ups making shopping for holiday gifts a unique experience at the Oakland waterfront.
Visitors to the Square will find one-of-kind items from local artists, crafts makers and collectors. At the foot of Broadway, the traditional holiday fir tree is decorated with 600 colorful ornaments and 5,000 sparkling lights. Free local bands, magicians and street dancers will provide live holiday music and entertainment.
Free Do It Yourself workshops offer unique learning experiences for all ages and there will be games for the kids. Children can have their smartphone picture taken for free with Santa next to Jack London Square's 55-foot holiday tree.
There are plenty of places to eat with many fine restaurants at Jack London Square or one can grab a quick snack from a local food truck vendor.

Jack of All Trades takes place on the second Saturday of each month. Dec. 10, 2016 is the last Jack of All Trades event for this year.
