Red, White and Blue day the Jack London Square way

Free family festival on the Oakland waterfronte

 

Oakland, CA – July 2, 2015: Saturday, July 4, is a day of fun at the Port of Oakland’s Jack London Square with a free, family festival along the waterfront. Bay Area residents, visitors and families are invited to celebrate the holiday in the Square with music, food and entertainment from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Free family entertainment includes:

  • Balloon artists
  • Carnival games with an eco-twist
  • Clowns
  • Crafts
  • Face painters
  • Hula hoopers
  • Magicians
  • Performances
    • Dance-A-Vision
    • Kinetic Arts Circus Spire Youth Troupe
    • Oaktown Jazz
  • Petting zoo
  • Puppet shows
  • Riveropolis – kids create mini-river environments
  • Storytelling
  • Uncle Sam stilt walker

Daytime event only – no evening fireworks.
