OAK Passenger Traffic Up 12.3 Percent in April

Oakland, CA – May 18, 2015: Oakland International Airport (OAK) recorded total passenger enplanements of 905,048 in the month of April 2015, an increase of 12.3 percent from the same month last year.

Airline seat capacity, at 1,152,990 seats, was up 8.9 percent and average load factor for commercial operations at OAK was 78.5 percent, up from 76.1 last year.

Cargo volume at OAK in April was 95.9 million pounds, down 2.7 percent year over year.

San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) rail ridership to the OAK Station in April was 78,133, up 38.6 percent from predecessor Air BART bus connector service last year.
