Oakland, Calif. – June 13, 2018: Jack London Square is home to Patchwork’s Summer Show Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event features local emerging artists, crafters and designers along with workshops, indie music and gourmet food trucks. Patchwork is free and open to the public.
“This Jack London Square event is family-friendly and offers a wonderful opportunity to highlight the creative community of East Bay artists and food makers all in a festive atmosphere at the Oakland waterfront,” said Port of Oakland Director of Commercial Real Estate Pamela Kershaw.
Patchwork organizers say its show June 16 supports small businesses by bringing together crafters, artists and local makers from Oakland who have been selected through a juried process. The Summer Show will offer clothing, bath products, accessories, art, pet gear and other hand-made goods.
Food and drink are available for purchase. Pets are welcome at all Jack London Square restaurants that have outdoor dining, year-round.
There are more than 55 free public events at Jack London Square throughout the year. Go here to see all activities offered at the Oakland waterfront or call (510) 645-9292.
