Oakland Airport offers easy and affordable parking options for the holidays

Oakland, Calif. – November 23, 2021Oakland International Airport expects plenty of parking to be available for passengers in its four parking lots throughout this upcoming holiday season.

“Travelers that plan to fly from Oakland International Airport for the holidays will have plenty of options for parking at the airport this season,” says Bryant L. Francis, Director of Aviation at the Port of Oakland. “Kicking off with what is expected to be a busy Thanksgiving week, holiday travel is projected to bring in more passengers than any time since prior to the pandemic. Our parking facilities are fully operational, and our team is prepared to serve those who choose to Fly the East Bay Way.”

Passenger parking lots available at OAK include Economy for $18 per day, Daily for $24 per day, Hourly for $5 per hour or $34 per day, and Premier for $4 per 30 minutes or $38 per day. All parking lots at OAK are located across the street from airport terminals except for the Economy Lot, which is located just a short walk from Terminal 1 and offers free shuttle service to the airport terminals. Currently, OAK Parking is featuring a special reduced coupon rate of $17.50 per day for travelers who park in the Daily Lot for four days or more. This deal is a perfect fit for those traveling for the upcoming long holiday weekend, but the coupon is required. The discounted rate will be available throughout the holiday season and will expire on February 28, 2022. While the nearby Park & Call Lot is a popular choice for drivers that are picking up arriving friends and family from OAK, individuals who are picking up also have the option of utilizing OAK’s Hourly Parking Lot. The cost for the Hourly Lot is $5 per hour and it allows individuals to park right across the street from the airport terminals. Passengers who park in the Hourly Lot can enter the airport facility to meet and greet their arriving friends and family, allowing more time for those important reunions with loved ones for the holidays.
