Oakland, Calif. – May 10, 2019: Jack London Square officials expect large crowds tomorrow for an Art and Wine Festival from noon to 5 p.m. The event celebrates local artists and showcases more than 20 Northern California wineries. Live music will be a part of the festivities including a performance by local soul and funk party band Pride & Joy from 2 to 4 p.m.
The Art and Wine Festival coincides with Second Saturday, a regular open-air market at Jack London Square. Second Saturday features up to 60 vendors offering jewelry, clothing and unique items. There is no admission fee for this event. There’ll be kids’ activities, live entertainment and a variety of food options from local vendors and Oakland eateries.
Tasting tickets at the Art and Wine Festival are available on Eventbrite. A portion of the ticket proceeds will benefit a non-profit.
