“Southwest allows millions of residents and visitors to Fly the East Bay Way, and these new high-demand destinations make it easier than ever to do so,” said Bryant Francis, Port of Oakland Director of Aviation. “With over 60 destinations globally offered from OAK, the reasons to make a Transbay journey to catch a nonstop flight are steadily diminishing.”

“Our decades of investment in California air service continues with new, relevant, nonstop options for Southwest’s East Bay Customers,” said Andrew Watterson, Executive Vice President & Chief Revenue Officer at Southwest. “We’re reconnecting Californians with time-saving value at low fares, and with hospitality that’s built on a foundation of doing what’s right for our Customers.
“Southwest Airlines is excited to announce four new daily nonstop destinations next summer from Oakland to Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Orlando, and San Antonio said John Parker, Southwest Airlines Capacity Planning Manager. “These new flights continue to solidify our service offering in the East Bay and enable more nonstop flights from the Bay Area for our OAK Customers.”
Southwest Airlines will be the sole carrier on each route from OAK.
