  4. Review of the November 7, 2006 Board Agenda Items
    1. Approval and Authorization of Oakland Army Base (OAB) Pre-Development Program to complete the Planning, Study, Preliminary Engineering Design and Environmental Review of Future Projects in the Amount of $47.6 Million.
    2. Recommendation that the Board Approve and Authorize Execution of a Parking Management Agreement with AMPCO System Parking to Provide Parking for Truckers in the Port’s Newly Acquired Oakland Army Base Property.
    3. Authorization to Dispense with Standard Bidding Procedures and Include the Demolition of Building 640 at the Former Oakland Army Base, Outer Harbor (Small Business Program), in the Estimated Amount of $1,900,000.
    4. Authorization to Prepare and Execute Agreement with XXXX for Geotechnical Engineering Services for the 7th Street Grade Separation / Outer Harbor Intermodal Project at the Former Oakland Army Base, Outer Harbor, Oakland, in an Amount to be Certified by the Board of Port Commissioners1.
    5. Adoption of New Electric Rates for Sale of Electrical Power at the Marine Terminal and the Commercial Real Estate Areas to Reflect PG&E Retail Tariff Costs to the Port, $8,000 Increase in Revenue.
      Adoption of New Utility Rates for the Sale of Electrical Power, Water, Sewer and Gas at the Oakland Army Base Area to Recover a Fair Share of the Utility Operating and Maintenance Expenses, $425,000 Revenue.
    6. Approval of a Resolution Confirming that the Certain Transaction Modifications are Consistent with the Previously Approved Ordinance 3880 which Authorized Negotiation and Execution of Various Real Estate Agreements Related to Acquisition of the Army Reserve Properties.
1 The Engineering Division has informed the board of its estimate for the cost of these services. It is not disclosed here in the best interest of the public and the competitive process. Actual amounts will be available after all of the contract agreement has been obtiained.
