TRAVEL PACKAGER INCREASING SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA CAPACITY

Oakland, Calif. - Feb. 24, 2015 - The Allegiant Travel Company has announced an expansion of its San Francisco Bay Area operations at Oakland International Airport (OAK) with the addition of new seasonal nonstop flights to and from Omaha starting on May 1, 2015.

The new flights will be the only nonstop air service between Omaha and the Bay Area.

"Demand for travel to the Bay Area is strong in the Midwest, and we know that our customers will appreciate the convenience and central location of Oakland International the same way they appreciate the value of bundling their air, hotel and car reservations together,” said Jude Bricker, Allegiant Travel Company senior vice president of planning.

Flight days and times and the lowest available fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.

“It’s great to see a leading travel company like Allegiant adding service to accommodate growing demand for travel to the Bay Area, and that they favor OAK as the best gateway to the Bay,” said Deborah Ale Flint, Director of Aviation for Port of Oakland.

With the addition of Omaha, Allegiant will serve a total of five cities with nonstop flights to and from OAK: Bellingham, Washington (BLI), Eugene, Oregon (EUG), Phoenix/Mesa, Arizona (AZA) and Provo, Utah (PVU). The carrier also operates seasonal services between OAK and Kalispell, Montana (FCA), Idaho Falls, Idaho (IDA) and Missoula, Montana (MSO).
