Four adventurers, three of whom are disabled, are traveling around
the world using at least 80 unique means or transportation. The Community
Relations staff welcomed and presented the adventurers a letter from
Executive Director Tay Yoshitani acknowledging their accomplishments

The Port sent volunteers to Marcus Foster Elementary School on, Thursday,
November 7th to participate in Family Night. Volunteers handed out
free books in both English and Spanish and served dinner to 20 children
and their parents. School Board member Greg Hodge and the Oakland
Fire Department spoke on the importance of reading as a family. Family
Night is a program sponsored by The Oakland Unified School District.
